She read my message, never replied, but she’s posting stories

I sent a long message to a friend suggesting a weekend away together, with two or three ideas and some links. The app shows she read it that same day. Since then, three days with no answer. Meanwhile, she’s posting stories: a cake, a walk, a video of her cat. So she has time to post, but not to answer me. I wrote to her: “I see you’re in great shape on Instagram!” She replied, curtly, that she didn’t have to justify herself and would answer when she could. I don’t get why she’s offended, when I’m the one waiting.

How it works

  1. 1Tell us about the argument

Write your side, then the other person’s, as honestly as you can. The AI can help you reword it, suggests a title and spots details that could identify someone. You read it over and approve it.

  2. 2Everyone votes

After a review, your argument is posted to the feed: every visitor to the site can vote. You also get a link to send to your friends and family by text or WhatsApp, and a private link to manage it.

  3. 3Five possible verdicts

Five possible verdicts: “You’re right,” “You’re the one who’s wrong,” “Nobody’s wrong,” “Everyone’s wrong” or “Not enough info.” One vote per person, plus a short comment if you want.

  4. 4Compare the opinions

See what strangers, your friends and family and the AI think, and whether they agree. These are opinions for fun, not judgments.

FAQ

Is it free?

Yes. Telling an argument, voting and commenting are all free. The site is funded by ads, shown according to your cookie choices.

Do I need to create an account?

No, no account and no password. When you post your argument, you get a private admin link: keep it safe, it’s what lets you manage it. If you lose it, write to us from the Contact page.

Who sees my story?

By default, everyone: it’s posted to the public feed after a review, and you can also send it to your friends and family. If you’d rather, choose “Just my friends and family”: only people with the link will see it. Either way, never include a name, an address or any detail that could identify someone.

How do I delete my argument?

Open your private admin link and delete it. The text is erased right away, along with the votes and comments. If you’ve lost the link, write to us from the Contact page.

Does the AI read my story?

Yes. Your text is sent to Claude, Anthropic’s AI, to help you reword it, anonymize it, suggest a title, moderate it and give a verdict. Only the text is sent, never your IP address. The AI can make mistakes: always read it over before you approve.

Are the Editors’ Dilemmas real stories?

No. The Editors’ Dilemmas are fictional stories, made up by the Who’s Right? editors to get the debate going. They carry a badge that sets them apart from stories told by visitors. You can vote on them just like the others.
