She read my message, never replied, but she’s posting stories

A story made up by our editors to get the debate going, not a real account.
My side
I sent a long message to a friend suggesting a weekend away together, with two or three ideas and some links. The app shows she read it that same day. Since then, three days with no answer. Meanwhile, she’s posting stories: a cake, a walk, a video of her cat. So she has time to post, but not to answer me. I wrote to her: “I see you’re in great shape on Instagram!” She replied, curtly, that she didn’t have to justify herself and would answer when she could. I don’t get why she’s offended, when I’m the one waiting.
Their side
My friend explains that she answers short messages right away, but a weekend proposal means checking her schedule, her budget and her other plans. Posting a story takes ten seconds, planning a weekend doesn’t. She feels my Instagram remark sounded like surveillance, and that it made her uncomfortable.
