I refused to help my best friend move: was I wrong?

My side
My best friend is moving. Again. That’s the fourth time in six years. He’s leaving a fifth-floor walk-up for a fourth-floor walk-up. He owns an upright piano. He asked me to come help on a Saturday. I said no. That Saturday is my only day off this month, and I’d planned to do absolutely nothing, with great conviction. I offered to pay for pizza for the whole crew instead. He took it really badly. He reminded me that I’m supposed to be his best friend. I think a best friend also gets to have a Saturday.
Their side
My friend reminds me that he helped with my last two moves, one of them in the snow. He set the date a month ahead so everyone could plan. For the piano, he even booked professional movers. According to him, all that was left were boxes, one morning of work with a few people, and pizza, no matter how good, doesn’t carry boxes.
