I broke her vase and paid what I found online: was that fair?

My side
At a dinner at a friend’s place, I made a big gesture while telling a story and knocked over a vase on the sideboard. In a thousand pieces. I apologized right away and offered to pay for it. She told me it was worth $120, a designer vase. The next day, I looked up the model online. I found it new for $45 at a big home decor chain. I Venmoed her $45 with the link, telling her she could even buy the exact same one. She replied, offended, that it wasn’t the same, that hers was an older edition. I think she inflated the price.
Their side
My friend explains that she bought the vase years ago at a small gallery, and that she really did pay $120 for it back then. The model online looks like it, but it’s mass-produced, lighter and a different shade. She finds it insulting that I set the price on my own, with a link, as if she were lying. She would have preferred we talk about it.
